As adviser to the internal prevention adviser
Support for the internal department for prevention and protection at work implies a complete package of possibilities in practice. Consequently, Soresma can provide:
- Implementation of examinations at the level of work and fire safety coupled with recommendations for improvement.
- Drawing up company emergency plans, zoning plans, explosion safety documents.
- Setting up of safety control systems (such as VCA, OHSAS).
- Giving professional training (HAZOP, hierarchical basic safety line, ...).
- The implementation of task and risk analyses.
- Conducting process safety analyses or malfunction analyses (HAZOP, FMEA,).

As safety co-ordinator for construction sites
In accordance with the Royal Decree on temporary and mobile work places, most sites’ construction managers must appoint safety co-ordinators. Soresma has experts with the necessary experience to act as safety co-ordinators (at both the design and realisation stages).
The co-ordinator has 4 instruments to carry out his coordination task:
- The health and safety plan, the co-ordination diary, the post-intervention file and the co-ordination structure.
- The health and safety plan describes the work, risk analyses and corresponding preventive measures.
- Events, observations and consequences need to be registered in the co-ordination diary.
- The post-intervention file contains useful information for safety and health during any later construction activities and is transferred to the client at the start of the project.
As a safety partner of SEVESO companies or authorities
Soresma is expert in the compilation of safety reports (SWA-VR; O-VR) and safety studies, as well as the implementation of quantitative risk analyses (QRA). Soresma can call on the wide-ranging experience and expertise of the renowned SAVE bureau from the Netherlands. For the implementation of quantitative risk analyses, the well-known SAVEII software package is used. Soresma has qualified SR experts. Soresma can also help you with drawing up disaster management plans (or auditing them).
Fire-fighting service
Soresma ensures all aspects of fire-fighting service such as:
- Performance analysis of municipal and regional fire brigades, as well as company fire brigades.
- Analysis of fire organisations.
- Feasibility analysis of particular cooperation agreements.
- Analysis of fire-fighting supplies in specific situations (road tunnels etc.).
- Consultancy services with regard to implementation of regulations (such as fire compartmentalisation)
The software “Brandweerzorg” (Fire-fighting service), with built-in GIS functionality, is an excellent tool to calculate financing schemes for fire brigades.
